“Two Hours on Tuesday”
Mid-summer is not the time for epic cleanups (unless you’re on the rugby squad), but you can join Ivy Ridge Green for a combination work session & happy hour twice on Tuesdays this July, 6pm – 8pm:
- Tuesday July 7th, Annie Scott and Marlene Schleifer will lead a cleanup of Germany Hill, starting at Fountain and Smick Streets. Piggy back on the work they did already this season with “Philadelphia Cares” — it’s a beautiful spot, and getting more so.
- Tuesday July 21st, I’ll lead a cleanup of Ivy Ridge Trail and — at Union Jack’s afterwards — update any neighbors who are interested on our progress with SEPTA and the City.
So consider donating a couple of hours of your week and stick around to tell us more about what’s going on in your neck of the neighborhood.
