Our first Two on Tuesday volunteer work session is on Wednesday, April 22nd from 6pm-8pm at GERMANY HILL (Fountain Street and Smick Street)! Come help us cut vines, pick up trash and weedwack Germany Hill. Hope to see you all there!!

With a grant obtained by the Destination Schuylkill River we are able to work with Natural Lands trust to create a plan for Germany Hill. Please join us for a hands on planning workshop with Natural Lands Trust for Germany Hill and the surrounding trails and greenspace.
What: Germany Hill Planning Meeting
When: 6PM May 8th
Where: Hillside Recreation Center
Attendees will be asked to talk about their favorite places, share their knowledge of the history of the area, and discuss how and why they use the publicspaces in the neighborhood.
Spring is officially here! Mark your calendars, we have lots of cleanups and plantings coming up, please join us when you can.
April 1st – Fountain Street Steps cleanup (10AM-1:30PM)
April 14th – Mayors Spring Cleanup (9AM-1PM)
The Schuylkill Project has organized and end-to-end canal cleanup and cleanups on various sets of steps in the neighborhood including Roxborough Ave Steps, Dupont, Boone and Krams Steps.
April 21st – Tree Tenders Spring Planting
May 5th – Umbria Street Neighbors Flea Market (proceeds from this fundraiser are used to buy the plants for the Fountain Street Steps!)
May 12th – Love Your Park (9AM-1PM) Planting at Fountain Street Steps and mulching and cleanup at Germany Hill
